Bridal hijab stylists in Toronto and the GTA: who to book and what to ask

Hijab styling is its own booking, and almost nobody in the GTA advertises it anywhere you can search. Here are the stylists taking weddings, and the questions worth asking before you book one.

If you have tried to find a hijab stylist for a wedding in the Greater Toronto Area, you have probably noticed the same thing everyone else does: there is nowhere to look. The big wedding directories list hair and makeup, henna and mehndi, decorators and dhol players, and then stop. Search "hijab stylist Toronto" and you get Instagram profiles, TikTok videos, and a couple of shops that sell hijabs rather than style them.

The stylists exist. They are busy, and most of them are booked through a direct message. This is a plain list of who is working in the GTA, with what each one publicly says she does, so you can start from something other than a hashtag search.

Hijab styling is its own booking

The most common planning mistake is assuming the makeup artist will handle it, or that whoever is doing hair can pin a hijab at the end. Sometimes that is true, and plenty of artists do offer both. But a bridal hijab is a construction job with a twelve-hour deadline, and it is a genuinely separate skill.

A hijab stylist is working on all of these at once:

Some stylists also do niqab styling, guest and bridal party styling, and turban or dupatta setting. Ask, rather than assuming any of it is included.

What to ask before you book

Almost every problem people describe afterwards traces back to a question nobody asked. Worth getting answers in writing:

On pricing

Almost nobody in this niche publishes rates, which is normal rather than evasive: the price genuinely depends on the fabric, the number of looks, travel and whether a fitting is included. Ask for a written quote that names all four, and be wary of a number quoted before anyone has asked what you are wearing.

When to book

Earlier than you think. A stylist takes one wedding on a given morning, and the same Saturdays in peak season are contested by everyone. If your date is in wedding season, reach out as soon as the date is fixed. If you want a fitting, allow a few weeks between it and the day so there is room to change your mind about the shape.

Hijab stylists working in the GTA

Listed by where each stylist is based. Most travel across the GTA, so treat the area as a starting point rather than a limit. Every entry below was checked against the stylist’s own profile in September 2026, and anyone whose account or site had gone quiet was left out rather than listed on the strength of an old search result. That mattered more than expected: several hijab stylists who still rank well in Google no longer exist, with deleted accounts and parked domains, so a search result is not evidence that someone is taking bookings. Everything here is what each stylist says publicly about her own work; we have not tested any of these services, and nobody paid to be here.

How this list was made

Order is not a ranking. Areas run Toronto first, since that is where most readers are, then alphabetically, and stylists with no base who come to every booking are listed last. Within an area the businesses are listed alphabetically by name. Nobody is ranked, and nothing about the order reflects what we think of anyone’s work.

By hand, from what each stylist publishes about herself, or has told us directly when we asked. No listing was bought, no one pays to appear, and there are no affiliate links. We do not host anyone's photos: every image of their work stays on their own profile, where it belongs and where the photographer who took it can be credited. HireMUA, which runs this site, is booking software for beauty professionals: some artists listed here use it and some do not, and that has never had anything to do with appearing on this page.

If you are on this list and would like your entry corrected or removed, email [email protected] and it will be done the same day, no questions asked. If you are a hijab stylist working in the GTA and you are not here, email the same address and we will add you. The list is only useful if it is close to complete.

Are you a hijab stylist, or a makeup artist who styles?

HireMUA gives you a bookable page, deposits, contracts and a calendar, so enquiries stop living in your DMs. Free for a month, and being on the list above costs nothing either way.
