Welcome to HireMUA. By accessing or using our platform at hiremua.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
HireMUA is a booking and contract management platform for independent makeup artists and their clients, available in the United States and Canada. References to "we," "us," or "HireMUA" refer to the HireMUA platform and its operators.
Artist accounts are created through our onboarding flow. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
As an artist using HireMUA, you agree to:
Clients access HireMUA to review and sign contracts sent by artists. By signing a contract through the platform, clients acknowledge that their electronic signature constitutes a legally binding agreement with the artist under applicable e-signature laws, including the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN) in the United States and the Uniform Electronic Commerce Act (UECA) in Canada.
HireMUA offers paid subscription plans billed in USD. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your payment method on a recurring basis. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time through your account settings. Fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable advance notice.
Artists may share their unique HireMUA profile link to refer other makeup artists to the platform. If an artist signs up through your referral link and completes payment for their first month of service after their trial period ends, you will receive a credit equal to one month at your current subscription price, applied automatically to your HireMUA account. There is no limit to the number of artists you may refer. HireMUA reserves the right to withhold, reverse, or adjust referral credits in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, self-referral, or violation of these Terms, and may modify, pause, or discontinue the referral program at any time.
HireMUA and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of HireMUA. Artists retain ownership of all content they upload, including portfolio photos, service descriptions, and contract terms. By uploading content, you grant HireMUA a limited, non-exclusive licence to display that content as part of delivering the Service.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
HireMUA is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HireMUA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. HireMUA does not mediate or adjudicate disputes between artists and clients. Any contractual disputes are solely between the parties to that contract.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or are otherwise harmful to users or the platform. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by a notice on the platform. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws in the jurisdiction where the dispute arises, without regard to conflict of law principles.
